1.) Which countries have banned the Internet?

The Internet has become a big part in moder society with so many people using it for work and school. It is a very helpful tool to everybody with thousands of brilliant websites which given great information and advice to people, but it can be misused in innaporiate ways. That is why some countries like Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam have banned some elements of the internet and by doing this they are known as “Internet Enemies”

http://www.rsf.org/article.php3?id_article=19603

2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings)

Banned

- The following image states or shows how some countries have banned the access to video associated sites like Youtube. But in more depth it really shows how in particular China has blocked youtube because of the Tibet community protesters. The Dalai Lama is on this page as he is a leader of the Tibeten people and community  This is the story of China and how their government blocked Youtube. Chinese government approves the internet for education and business purposes. China has an estimates 210 million users of the internet according to the government and due to the Tibeten protests and news from the Dalai Lama, a case of action has been made by the Chinese government by blocking the popular video website of Youtube.

4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet.

What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs)If the Australian government banned the Internet, there would be so many privileges that would be lost for me and for the rest of this country. With the Internet, we can use it more and use the less of book to collect information, and if the internet was lost, the whole country in my opionion would find it difficult to work to a good extent, and us student would find it difficult to do work as the internet has become a major part of everyones everyday lives. The internet is a excellent resource or tool a great deal of knowledge would be lost if the internet was taken away from the nation.Besids the dangerous or bad elements of the internet, the internet generally is a handy tool and if it was taken away from us people would do less work by using books. Workers will find it hard complete their work if there was no internet, students would fail more and more in things like assessment tasks and people in general would lose things like social network sites like myspace or bebo and many people would lose online internet games like RuneScape or counterstrike. In conclusion, if the internet got taken away from me I would feel very lost as the internet is a major part of my life for educational purposes like homework.

Sacramental: How can I be Sacramental?

Categories: CST/ IST Term 2.

I think that it was a couple of lessons back that we had to implement “to do” list on how we can be sacramental and inspiring people of faith. Some of the things that went up on the board include:-          Start fundraisers-          Start Charities-          Random acts of Kindness-          Donations -          Donations to Caritas AustraliaI will be a living presence of God by ‘’showing random acts of kindness”, this is important because it could make someone’s day and if they are having a bad day, it can lift them back up. How can I show random acts of kindness? Well, by simple things by smiling at people, giving them something that they need, asking them such questions as “how was your day” and by helping them when they didn’t ask for it or when they needed it.

What have I achieved so far? Well, so far I have helped Nathanael with his homework by showing him examples of formulas, I have given my sister money so that she can buy something from the canteen and also I have continually smiled at people when I can see that they are not in a good mood.
